International men's magazine Maxim is set to launch a fragrance for men in collaboration with marketer and distributor, Omni Scents.
This is the publication's first venture into the fragrance industry and the scent is scheduled to hit shelves of departmental stores and fragrance retailers across the world in Fall 2013. The publication has made this decision with an aim to provide men with a perfume that has "tremendous appeal to the global Maxim consumer."
The new fragrance for men will be in tune with Maxim's ideas and beliefs and like the magazine will concentrate on elements like "excitement, fun and suggestiveness."
"The Maxim brand continues to resonate with men around the globe. We welcome this first fragrance brand for men, which will provocatively express the brand's unique voice," cosmetics business quoted Jack Kliger, Executive Chairman, Alpha Media Group.
"Maxim is more than a magazine. It is a lifestyle brand that resonates with men all over the world," said Neil J. Katz, President and CEO of Omni Scents, according to the site.
The publication intends to launch the fragrance keeping in mind the fact that men have become extremely conscious about their appearance as well as style.
Omni Scents also recently announced its partnership with Miss Universe to unveil a trio perfume set- Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA.
