Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston's only daughter, took to twitter to bash her grandmother's new book, "Remembering Whitney." The Houston family turned the year on a tumultuous 2012 by starting 2013 with more problems.

Bobbi Kristina, 19, posted a set of two tweets in relation to Cissy Houston's, 79, new book. The first one said, "ANYTHING concerning mygrandmothersBook•I& @nickdgordon OFCOURSE personally haveNOTHING2dowith• I ask youplsRESPECT tht•Haven't read&won't." Bobbi Kristina followed that up by tweeting, "I find it 2B Disrespect2MYMOTHER & me being HERDAUGHTER won't tolerate it. I LOVEYOUALL for your support though & I thank you immensely••xO!"

The 19 year-old's tweets show a clear rift between Bobbi Kristina and her grandmother. Not only is she disassociating herself from the book, she is also trying to get others to boycott "Remembering Whitney," while insulting it.

Though Bobbi Kristina has not read the book, she is clearly upset by the content, which includes Cissy going into detail about Whitney's drug abuse, addressing rumors of Whitney having a potential lesbian relationship, and speaking of problems that Whitney and Bobby Brown faced.

Meanwhile Cissy Houston had earlier addressed the fact that Bobbi might not be happy with the book in an interview with Oprah. Oprah asked, "Is it true that Bobbi Kristina didn't want you to write this book?" to which Cissy replied, "That's what I heard."

Cissy also added, "I think she wants to be grown, and she knows that I'm not gonna tolerate her saying or doing anything to me. I'm gonna tell her the right thing that I think. I want her to do the right thing. And all I'm trying to do is guide her to the right place in her life."

The two family members would do best to settle their matters in private rather than drag out this public feud. While they are both garnering media attention, the pair are also serving to damage the Houston name.
