Alber Elbaz to launch own cosmetic collection in collaboration with Lancôme.

The chief creative director of French luxury house Lanvin will design a limted edition makeup collection, in partnership with  Lancôme, set to be launched in June 15, 2013 according to WWD.

The collaboration between the Moroccan born fashion designer and Lancôme will be the first makeup line for Elbaz, who took the chief artistic  director position of the Lanvin fashion hosue in 2001. Elbaz is known for taking the Lanvin brand recognized for its luxury, fashion and style to new heights.

 Lancôme to the media stated "Alber Elbaz is, without a doubt, one of the world's most influential fashion designers. But beyond that, he is also the most talented," said Youcef Nabi, President of Lancôme international, adding "His sense of luxury, his vision of femininity and that hint of audacity resonate perfectly with the new values of the Maison Lancôme.

In a sneak preview  video titled " Lancôme Puts on a Show" proudly announces the new collaboration between the iconic designer and the French luxury cosmetic brand. "We are extremely proud and happy that, with us, he is set to channel his universe in the world of makeup for the very first time," said Nabi.
