Olympic Swimmer Michael Phelps split up with model girlfriend Megan Rossee. 

Michael Phelps is single again, the 27 year old ended his relationship with model actress girlfriend Megan Rossee after 10 months. According to TMZ sources close to the swimmer revlead that he 'felt the relationship wasn't going anywhere, so he decided to end it so he could purse other options.'

The 25 year-old model was talk of the 2012 Olympics when intimate pictures of the couple were posting on  social media. Many people though doubt the relationship will last speculating the model is using her relationship with the record breaking swimmer for fame. 

"Like any young girl hoping to make it in Hollywood, she's ambitious and knows what by associating herself with Michael she will get a lot of press herself," said a source to Radaronline, adding "She's desperate for her own fame." 

Phelps is enjoying his new found status, he was recently seen playing beer pong with stacy keibler via twitter.  Michael also left a tweet "Things happen for a reason..." maybe implying to his recent breakup with Rossee.
