Market research found 'UGG' brand the most search present item in 2012 Holiday Season.
According to Experian Marketing Services, which looks at search and socialnetwork intelligence, consumer on-line behavior and data found Uggs brand was the most searched item, according to Forbes.
Uggs, sheepskin boots brand by Brian Smith became an instant sensation when launched, embraced by many as a casual lifestyle symbol. UGG Sheepskin boots were first featured on Oprah's Favorite Things® and Oprah emphatically declared that she "LOOOOOVES her UGG boots." The brand which made sheepskin boots, slippers, clogs and sandals for active outdoor lifestyle has changed to a symbol of stylish lifestyle.
Ugg's beat out other hot holiday gifts including Amazon's Kindle Fire, Apples iPad mini, touch and classic Barbie dolls, becoming the top searched consumer gift for the 2012 holiday season.
Recenlty, André Leon Talley former editor-at-large for Vogue magazine, known for his influence to promote new wears, fashion designers and one of fashion's most beloved figures stated "When I discovered Uggs, it was a revelation. I love Uggs. Uggs can be as chic as heels for women." He owns 15 pairs of Uggs according to Styleite September issue.
