Christmas engagements, 90's sitcom actress Brandy of 'Moesha' and 'Boy Meets World' actor Rider Strong officially engaged.
Actor Rider Strong of 'Boy Meets World' asked Alexandra Barreto to marry him on Christmas and she said 'Yes.' Strong proposed with 'an engagement ring' made with three diamonds and gold band he made himself, according to Toofab. The couple met while working on a short series, and worked together on President Obama's campaign video.
The actor is currently in the works for a new spin-off of 'Boy Meets World' titled 'Girls Meet World,' both actors Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel will be cast as parents of teenagers, 19 years after the original Disney sitcom aired. Ben Savage took to twitter posting 'I'm going to be a father! Well, on TV at least. The Boy Meets World sequel is officially happening!'
Another 90's ABC sitcom 'Moesha' actress became engaged this Christmas to music executive Ryan Press, according to Us Weekly.
'They are thrilled and happy and Brandy feels this is so right," according to inside sources. Brandy currently has a 10 year-old daughter, Sy'rai, with Ex Robert Smith. The 33 year-old Norwood's relationship with Smith was documented in her reality show "Brandy: Special Delivery." Although the couple never married, she pretended to be married stating 'I lied because of the fear of what people would think and the pressure to be a good role model.'
Brandy currently joined Tyler Perry's "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor,"expected to be released in March 2013 and BET comedy series "The Game" playing recurring role of Chardonnay, a bartender. She also released 'Two Eleven' album in November 2012.
