Ke$ha's latest studio album "Die Young," has been pulled from airwaves in the wake of Newtown, Connecticut shootings.
The popular single "Die Young" once ranked No. #3 on radio charts have plummeted since Friday, December 18th. Many stations has since pulled the song from its playlist, according to TMZ. The single has garnered 167 million woldwide listeners but has dropped nearly 20 million since the shootings.
Ke$ha has reached out for the victims of the horrific event posting on her twitter "@keshasuxx my heart goes out deeply to the people of Newtown, Connecticut" later adding "Its beyond words what has happened. Help families affected by the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary by donating here: https://www.indiegogo.com/OneRepublicForSandyHook .." One republic released a video plea to donate to the victims of Sandy Hook elementry. "The one thing we can do immediately is donate money to these families," said Ryan Tedder Frontman for the band.
Ke$ha, American singer, songwriter and rapper, who's rise to fame started after appearing on rapper Flo Rida's "Right Round." Since, then the 25 year-old had string of hits including "Tik Tok," "We R Who We R" and Cannibal. She also wrote songs for other artist including "Till the World Ends" for diva Britney Spears.
