Rachel Gupta made history as the first-ever Indian beauty queen to obtain a golden crown at the Miss Grand International. Who is she?
During the prestigious pageant, Gupta boasts elegance, intelligence, and beauty that not only stood out among viewers but the panels.With this, she was hailed as this year's winner, and people attracted more attention to her.
To start, Rachel Gupta was born on January 24, 2004, in Jalandhar, Punjab, and is only 20 years old. She was raised by a mother and a businessman father named Rajesh Aggarwal.
With her parents' combined genes, she grew up to be 178 meters tall and got green eyes as well as dark brown hair.
Since in her grade school, Gupta developed a love for performing including dancing and modeling. When she was 18 then, a huge opportunity was offered to her where she would be representing her country against 50 countries at the Miss Super Talent Season 15 in Paris organized by PFW.
She won first place in this event and rewrote history by becoming the first Indian to bag the trophy since 1970 following Zeenat Aman.

Despite her pageant gigs, she still prioritized studying and later on took philosophy as her major for college. Just like how important education is to her, she has been helping in her way to solve issues in the quality of education by becoming the voice to address this with the higher authorities.
In 2024, for the first time in the history of MGI, an Indian became the strongest contender and took home the crown, becoming notable for her quote, "It's time for us to stop fighting with each other and start respecting one another and making sure there are enough resources for everyone on this planet."
