Pamela Anderson's viral "no makeup" look is not just for aesthetics, as the actress revealed a deeper reason she opted to shy away from multiple layers of beauty products.
To commemorate her being hailed as 2024's Global Woman of the Year by Glamour, she graced the cover of the UK fashion magazine.
During the pictorial, she also sat down for an interview where she dished on various topics, including her journey of finally embracing her own skin.
In the past, she became the crowd's hot topic when she appeared at the Oscars and British Fashion Council Awards makeup-free.
At the time, it was concluded that she was aiming to make a beauty statement, but during the talk, Anderson stated, "I have nothing against makeup, but I felt like it just looked better on me in my 20s than it did now."
The "Baywatch" actress noted her concerns as she approached her 60s and gradually realized that she wanted to ultimately be herself now and show her bare skin without minding what other people would think.

She continued that this decision's progress, while "crazy," is a stepping stone for her to find inner peace and discover her true self.
"It’s important, no matter where you are in your beauty journey, to accept yourself as you are.Right now I’m having a big moment accepting the scars I have or imperfections. I think, instead of trying to be this polished person, I’d rather be raw," added Anderson, giving her empowering message of earning self-love despite flaws.
