Bath & Body Works (B&BW) has launched its Hispanic Heritage Month candle collection. Its revenue will benefit the American Chemical Society (ACS) scholars program.
To join the long-month celebration which will continue until Oct. 15th, B&BW designer Carolina Martinez Rodulfo held hands with perfumer Adrianna Medina to formulate the candles.
They ensure to curate a limited-edition lineup that introduces four "new, vibrant, joyful, and bold" scents representing the beauty of the Hispanic culture.
Here are the four scents in the collection:
Brown Sugar Coconut
Described as a "scent memory" from the maker's childhood, this will remind candle lovers of cocada, a popular coconut treat in Latin America.
Festival De Las Flores
This scent references the Columbian tradition in Medellín, the Festival of the Flowers. During this event, the city is filled with flowers, while locals celebrate cultural fabrics in the form of art dances.
Rainforest Jungle
For this one, the makers were inspired by the South African rainforest and its scents found in the eucalyptus trees, damp and earth.

Mango Passionfruit
Lastly, this scent celebrates the tropical fruit with sweet, juicy, and tangy flavors.
Each scent costs $26.95 and can be availed through bathandbodyworks.com for a limited time only.
The revenue from this collection will help the beneficiaries of the ACS scholars program, who are aspiring future leaders of chemistry-related fields from historically underrepresented groups.
