Dove and Venus Williams joined forces to help girls stay in sports by releasing a special edition bar soap that comes in recycled packaging.

The tennis player introduced the commemorative Dove x Venus #KeepHerConfident Beauty Bar, highlighting the special mission behind her partnership with Dove.

"I loved partnering with Dove to create the #KeepHerConfident Beauty Bar and incorporating my favorite fragrances, nods to the game I love with the tennis-ball colored bar and a powerful message to keep our young athletes looking, smelling and feeling great and confident!" Williams said in a statement.

The bar soap formulated for sporty girls and athletes is infused with the scent of passionfruit and lemon balm.

The product is a set of three green-colored bar soaps, each engraved with the word "confident," and comes in a special tennis ball canister-like packaging. The aluminum container is also made of recyclable materials for the ultimate keepsake.

This collaboration product between Dove and Williams is not for sale and instead will be given away in a sweepstakes.

This special giveaway promotes the Body Confident Sports program, which aims to build body confidence in 11- to 17-year-old girls.

According to research conducted by Dove in 2023, 45% of girls globally drop out of sports by age 14, with body confidence being the main culprit. 

Thus, the release of this special bar soap aims to spread awareness about this issue and to keep girls in sports by promoting body confidence.

To get a chance to win a special edition #KeepHerConfident Beauty Bar, Dove organized a Venus Sweepstakes on Dove.com, no purchase necessary.

The promotion is only available in the U.S., and only individuals 18 years old and above can participate.

To enter the giveaway, the website will require the participant to fill out a form asking for personal details, including name, email, address, and contact number. This information is needed to reach the winners.
