Tarte has added a new primer to its Maracuja makeup line, featuring key ingredients that offer a "glass skin" effect.

Tarte's new product, the Maracuja Juicy Glow Primer, is touted by the brand as "glass skin in a bottle."

The primer promises to help brighten the skin, thanks to its main components: maracuja oil, which is rich in fatty acids and vitamin C, and niacinamide, which helps minimize pores for that flawless glow.

It also contains birch tree water, which is hydrating and purifying for the skin.

There are three ways to wear the Maracuja Juicy Glow Primer. The first one is to use it for skin prep. Using this to prime the skin can add radiance and help extend foundation wear.

Beauty consumers can also wear it with a foundation for a soft focus finish or apply it to high points of the face for glowy results -- like a highlighter.

Tarte's new primer is suitable for those with sensitive skin as it is vegan, cruelty-free, and dermatologist-tested, with no parabens, gluten, and phthalates, among others.

It also caters to different skin tones, providing four shades: Luminous Peach, Luminous Bronze, Luminous Deep Bronze, and Luminous Rich Bronze.

The primer is currently available on Tartecosmetics.com for $39 and comes with a roll-on applicator for easy gliding along the contours.

Just a week after its release, the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Glow Primer has received rave reviews. In fact, Renee Rodriguez of Popsugar, who was given the chance to make a product review before its release, attested that "it's good" and even predicted that it would go viral.

"This product isn't sticky, it's easy to apply with the roller applicator, it's long-lasting, and it didn't break me out. I have reactive, acne-prone skin, and while some products can easily break me out in a rash or a bunch of pimples, my skin stayed clear while using this product," she said in her review.
