Le Labo is bringing out its new scent for Mexico City, continuously expanding the brand's City Exclusive Collection.
The new Le Labo Coriandre 39, as its name shows, features cilantro leaves (coriandre in French), which is referred to as the "most controversial of all herbs."
Le Labo wrote on its website, "Some of us can wax poetic about those lacy leaves. And some of us fervently disagree. Need we say more? Yes, actually. We’re pretty sure Coriandre 39 will surprise you."
The Coriandre 39 opens with notes of spicy lime along with its main component, cilantro leaves, giving a "quieter crisp watery" scent. The intoxicating musky dry-down then follows thanks to its fresh, green floral content.
This fragrance gives a sensory experience that goes back and forth between tranquil and vibrant fragrances.
Coriandre 39 is available on Le Labo's official website and ranges in price from $13 for a 1.5-milliliter bottle to $1,780 for a 500-milliliter bottle.
Le Labo's City Exclusive Edition is also available in a $65 Discovery Set that comes with five 1.5-milliliter bottles of different scents.
The brand personally curated five of the most loved scents from the collection out of the 17 fragrances available so far.
The fragrances that made it into the set include Coriandre 39 (Mexico City), Cedrat 37 (Berlin), Gaiac 10 (Tokyo), Tabac 28 (Miami), and Vanille 44 (Paris).
This can be purchased online from August to September only.
Meanwhile, Le Labo, based in New York City, has been serving fragrance lovers since 2006 after being founded by Eddie Roschi and Fabrice Penot.
In 2014, the brand was acquired by Estée Lauder Companies and is being led by Deborah Royer, serving both as its global brand president and creative director.
