Chris Appleton was crowned by beauty retailer Cosmetify as this year's No. 1 haircare influencer.

According to Cosmetify's Hair Cair Report 2024, the Schwarzkopf spokesperson and Kardashian stylist secured the top spot with a score of 8.37 out of 10 points. 

The rankings were determined by analyzing influencers' annual searches, annual search increase, as well as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube followings.

Based on the report, Appleton amassed 2 million annual searches from April 2023 to March 2024, which is 123% higher than last year.

He has a built a massive following on various social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok, where he boasts 4 million and 2.6 million followers, respectively.  

Appleton was the mastermind behind many of Kim Kardashian's jaw-dropping hair transformations, including her iconic 2024 Met Gala blonde lock look. Aside from working with A-list celebrities, the British hairstylist also established his name in the industry with his innovative hair design approach.

Ranking second on the top haircare influencers list was Tessa Peay, who scored 8.34 out of 10.

Looking at the YouTuber's growth in a year, her search volume increased by 313%. Her YouTube channel also surpassed 1.75 million subscribers. 

Peay is known for her helpful tutorials for fun and unique hairstyles for Gen Z as well as informative shorts about growing and protecting healthy hair.

Brad Mondo completed top three with a score of 7.93. The contributing factors to his rank included his massive 8.3 million subscriber count on YouTube and 10.4 million followers on TikTok. 

The hairstylist made his mark in the haircare industry with his informative videos and effective hair products under his brand, XMONDO Hair.
