Anne Hathaway, known for her timeless beauty and numerous iconic film roles, recently shared a unique beauty hack that she discovered during her time on movie sets. This simple yet effective trick, which she revealed on her TikTok account, promises to give you plump, full lips using nothing more than a hairpin.

In the video, Hathaway is seen preparing for a new campaign with Shiseido while sharing her innovative beauty trick.

She explained that during one of her shoots, she noticed that her upper lip looked a bit "wilted" on the monitor. In a moment of ingenuity, she asked her hairstylist for a hairpin to address the issue.

The Secret Behind the Hack

The secret, Hathaway revealed, is gently pressing a hairpin along the top of your lip. This method stimulates blood flow, giving the lips a fuller appearance.

"I went in and I sort of stimulated my lip to try to get some blood flow back there, to get some circulation," she shared in the video, demonstrating the technique to her viewers.

The Process

1. Prepare your lips

Before starting, ensure that your lips are clean and dry. This helps in getting the best results without any interference from makeup or oils.

2. Choose the right hairpin

Use a standard hairpin, which is wider and more U-shaped compared to a bobby pin. This shape is ideal for gently pressing against your lips.

3. Gently press

Place the ends of the hairpin at the edges of your upper lip and gently press. The key is to be gentle; excessive pressure can cause discomfort or even injury.

4. Tap on the hairpin

Gently tap and push the hairpin along the top of your lip for about 30 seconds. This increases blood circulation, making your lips appear plumper and rosier.

Safety Tips

Hathaway emphasized the importance of being gentle during this process.

"You can push too hard; it's meant to be a gentle, gentle thing that you don't do for longer than 30 seconds," she warned. "Don't stab yourself. If you've drawn blood, you've gone too far."

The goal is to stimulate circulation without causing any harm.

Reactions from Fans

The hack has left many TikTok viewers impressed and grateful, with numerous comments praising the simple yet effective trick. It quickly became a trend on TikTok, with countless users eager to try it out for themselves.

Naturally, when the beauty icon from the fashion-centric film "The Devil Wears Prada" shares her secret, it's hard to resist giving it a go, right?
