GHD has launched the Duet Blowdry 2-in-1 Hair Dryer Brush, offering a breakthrough in at-home haircare.

The device promises salon-quality results, allowing users to transform wet hair into a bouncy blow-dry quickly and without heat damage while providing three times more volume.

The Duet Blowdry features Heat-Air Xchange Technology, an aerodynamic system that converts airflow energy into heat, warming the barrel plate and snag-free bristles. This method ensures efficient drying and styling without damaging hair.

The elliptical-shaped barrel plate smooths and shapes hair at a constant temperature of 120 degrees Celsius (248 degrees Fahrenheit), while the heated bristles prevent tangling and breakage, enhancing natural shine.

Equipped with two heat sensors that monitor the surface temperature 400 times per second, the Duet Blowdry maintains a consistent low styling temperature. Its controlled airflow, powered by an ultra-compact brushless digital motor, ensures gentle and quiet drying for a flyaway-free finish. The tool claims to deliver 50% more shine, no frizz, and styles that last 24 hours.

GHD recommends pairing the Duet Blowdry with the new GHD Volume Forever volumizing blow-dry cream for enhanced volume and longer-lasting styles.

The device has been well-received by both professionals and consumers. Dafydd Thomas, GHD's global head of education, highlighted the tool's ability to provide a salon-worthy blow-dry with ease.

Customers, meanwhile, have praised its performance on various hair types, noting its ability to deliver quick, frizz-free results.

The Duet Blowdry is available in black and white options and retails for £379 ($490).

GHD, known for revolutionizing hair styling since the launch of its first straightening iron in 2001, continues to lead the industry.

The company, founded in Leeds, England, by Martin Penny, Gary Douglas, and Robert Powls, was acquired by Coty in 2016 and has since grown into a multibillion-dollar business with a global footprint.
