Sally Beauty, a well-known professional hair color and nail care retailer, has teamed up with Instacart to offer same-day delivery services across the United States.

This collaboration allows customers to receive their beauty products in as fast as an hour from more than 2,200 Sally Beauty store locations, and includes delivery of over 7,000 products, ranging from hair color and care to skin and nail items.

"Our partnership with Instacart builds upon our ongoing omni-channel strategy and commitment to enhance accessibility," Natalie Lockhart, group vice president of strategy, customer insights and digital experience at Sally Beauty, said in a press release. "We remain focused on putting our customers first by offering the latest technology and shopping options to ensure they have greater access to all their beauty essentials."

This nationwide rollout follows a successful trial earlier this year and is part of Instacart's broader strategy to diversify its delivery services. The new service is accessible through the Instacart App or the Sally Beauty storefront on Instacart's website.

"We're thrilled to continue broadening our offerings beyond grocery by partnering with Sally Beauty to deliver an extensive range of beauty products," said Blake Wallace, senior director of retail partnerships at Instacart.

"This partnership not only enhances Sally Beauty's e-commerce capabilities but also addresses the growing demand for quick delivery of everyday beauty products, ensuring customers can receive their essentials when they need them," Wallace added.

The beauty sector has been under increased pressure recently, with Sally Beauty reporting a 1.5% drop in comparable-store sales in its fiscal second quarter, partially due to consumer spending cuts. 

The company hopes that the partnership with Instacart will drive sales and provide greater convenience for customers.
