Dove has launched its latest haircare innovation with the release of the Dove Bond Strength collection, a new range that aims to provide comprehensive damage repair through four advanced products featuring the brand's proprietary Bio-Protein Care and peptides.
The Dove Bond Strength collection, developed over a decade of research, incorporates three patented technologies designed to repair and strengthen hair at a microscopic level.
"At Dove, we set out to create a new range of hair repair products that would not only visibly reverse the signs of extreme damage but cater to busy lifestyles by providing real results in a fraction of the time of our competitors," explained Brian Kennedy, chief operating officer of Unilever North America Beauty and Wellbeing.
The collection includes the Dove 10-in-1 Bond Strength Serum Mask, which retails for $9.99. This weekly treatment promises 10 benefits in just one minute, including boosting shine and detangling hair.
Additionally, the Dove 10-in-1 Bond Strength Shield Super Serum, also priced at $9.99, acts as a styler that protects hair from further damage while enhancing hydration and glossiness.
Complementing these are the Dove Bond Strength Shampoo and Conditioner, each priced at $3.99. These products work together to visibly transform hair and strengthen bonds from within.
Beth Labrecque, senior scientist for Dove Hair, explained that their new line uses biomimetic hair technology to repair severe damage from within, restoring hair's healthy look and feel by strengthening molecular bonds where damage and protein loss occur.
Hair damage is a common issue resulting from factors like heat styling, chemical treatments, and environmental exposure.
To showcase the effectiveness of their new products, Dove partnered with professional surfer Coco Ho, who experiences extreme hair damage from the sun and saltwater. She found the Dove 10-in-1 Bond Strength Serum Mask transformative, which can reverse damage in just 60 seconds.
The Dove Bond Strength collection is available at major retailers, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens, both in-store and online, according to a press release by Dove Hair.
This new range is positioned to offer effective and affordable hair repair solutions, making advanced haircare accessible to everyone.
