Future Society recently released a first-of-its-kind product called the Optimal Habitat Fragrance Enhancing Primer. The primer was designed to do exactly what it says, and that is to create the perfect habitat or base for your fragrance.
The perfume primer basically creates a good base for your scent and traps the fragrance, so you can wear your favorite scent for up to 24 hours. It uses your skin's biology to balance and sustain a perfume while also giving your skin a little TLC.
There are a ton of key ingredients in this product, but we're going to start with the arginine and citric acid, which help keep your scent long-lasting while also hydrating your skin and calming it down.
Some other standout ingredients are biotech ingredients such as Sr-Hydrozoan Polypeptide-1, ceramide NP, and aeonome.
Sr-Hydrozoan Polypeptide-1 is basically an ingredient that is the same as marine protein but without using animals. It helps restore your skin, makes you look younger, nourishes, and boosts your skin's antimicrobial barrier. Ceramide NP helps keep your skin hydrated, supple, and more. The final key ingredient is aeonome, and it's another marine ingredient that can smooth, hydrate, and moisturize your skin, and it also can help keep your skin healthier.
To use the Optimal Habitat Fragrance Enhancing Primer, all you need to do is spray and rub it in (yes, you're supposed to actually rub this in your skin). Give it 30 seconds to dry, then layer your favorite scent.
According to the brand's website, it is recommended to apply it on all your pulse points, including on your wrists, in the creases of your elbows and knees, your neck, and behind your ears.
This product is innovative and works extremely well. We've been playing around with this paired with different fragrances in our collection, and it has worked out well for just about everything, from luxury perfumes to affordable ones. We are also a little too obsessed with the packaging, which is minimal and stunning.
