Beauty creators and enthusiasts on the platform have popularized the "I'm Cold" makeup, a beauty trend that involves using various products to mimic the natural flush your skin gets when you're outside in the chilly weather. 

For those intrigued, here's how to do the "I'm Cold" makeup look.

Matte Skin

The first step for achieving the "I'm Cold" makeup look is to have a smooth, matte base. This is important as skin isn't as shiny during the winter as it is during summer.

You can use matte foundations such as Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation, which is recommended for normal to oily skin. 

For those who are not fans of matte foundation, you can use a lightweight skin tint or a mattifying primer instead.

Another tip is to apply setting powder or a base powder to parts of your skin that have a bit of shine to give it that smooth finish.

Heavy Blush

A significant part of this makeup look is applying a lot of blush to spots you would normally get flushed when a cold breeze hits your face, such as the cheeks and nose. Some tutorials even suggested putting blush on the chin and lip area.

The point of the beauty trend is to make you look like you stayed out in the cold weather too long but in a natural and cute way. Any blush you have at home will work as long as it gives you a natural hue on the cheeks and creates the illusion that you've just walked through a winter wonderland.

One recommendation is to go for cream blushes, as they blend easier into the skin and give you a bit of a glow. 

Highlighter

This step is optional, but plenty of influencers and makeup lovers who tried this trend went the frosty route by applying a silver or light gold highlighter on certain areas of the face.

Apply highlighter on the upper lip, the tip of the nose, eyelids, and inner corners of the eyes to achieve the winter glam look.

Frosty Lips

To complete the "I'm Cold" makeup look, apply a deep pink or berry-colored lipstick on the center of the upper and lower lips and then blend the color out to make it look natural. This helps give your lips the appearance that they have been kissed by the cold wind outside.

One option you can use is the NYX Suede Matte Lipstick in the color "Clinger" for a berry pink hue on your lips.
