Danielle Bernstein attends the Markarian front row during NYFW: The Shows at 30 Rockefeller Plaza on September 10, 2021 in New York City.
Danielle Bernstein says achieving a salon-quality blowout at home is totally doable, and she's generously shared a tutorial.
On Monday, the founder of WeWoreWhat shared a video on Instagram showing her method for doing a salon blowout.
"Salon blowout at home, with rollers [pink nail polish emoji]," she captioned the video. "Disclaimer: this is only my second time ever trying this and I'm excited to perfect it!"
Dressed in a gray bathrobe after her shower, Bernstein, 31, began her hair routine in the bathroom by using a Dyson hair dryer to gently dry her hair.
After rough drying her hair, she divided it into two sections and proceeded to use her trusty Conair brush blow dryer, methodically brushing each section.
"I've been using this brush blow dryer since I was in middle school," she said, explaining that "you have to hold the cool button when you use it."
Following that, the fashion designer secured the front section of her hair using two hair clips before using the pricey Hairbeauron 27D Plus curling iron to curl her hair
"Starting in the back, I'm going to curl my hair under [and] hold it for a little bit," Bernstein said as she demonstrated. "This is my favorite curling iron ever. It's pricey, but it's so worth it."
Next, she took her pink large velcro rollers from Acquired Style x Luxy Hair and placed one on each section of hair that she had previously curled with the curling iron.
Working on the back half of the middle section of her hair, Bernstein curled it before securing it with a roller.
Afterward, she shifted to the front portion and repeated the process, curling the hair and securing it with another roller.
She acknowledged that this step can be challenging, especially for those with long hair.
"Okay, that [was] definitely the hardest part," she remarked, before proceeding to place the rollers on the remaining sides of her hair.
Bernstein then said she was going to let the rollers on her hair sit for around 10 to 15 minutes.
In the next clip, she carefully "unrolled" the hair "in the direction of the curls" while taking out the rollers.
To complete the look, she applied Oribe Gold Hair Oil and brushed her hair out.
"This definitely gives this long blowout look," Bernstein said, concluding the video as she showed off her voluminous and bouncy hair.
