Jenna Ortega attends The 2023 Met Gala Celebrating "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line Of Beauty" at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 01, 2023 in New York City.
Jenna Ortega became a big fan of a skincare product on the set of "Wednesday," and now she can't live without it.
In a new Harper's Bazaar video, the actress revealed the contents of her beauty bag, highlighting the $29 Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant as a standout item.
According to Ortega, the tube she had was incredibly worn down and heavily used to the point where it's "almost embarrassing."
"I've had this for maybe two years," the "Scream" actress said. "And there's still at least half of the product in it."
Ortega shared that Nirvana, her hair and makeup artist on "Wednesday" and "Beetlejuice," introduced her to the skincare product.
The artist began using it on her during filming for "Wednesday" because Ortega often wore "really dark" lipstick for the Netflix series, which would sometimes dry out her lips.

"This eight-hour cream, it's kind of a much thicker, denser Vaseline," she explained. "So if you put it on right before bed, your lips feel full and rejuvenated."
She detailed their "Wednesday" beauty routine, sharing that she and her makeup artist would always begin the day using the cream. However, if they felt the need for it later on, they made an effort to use it sparingly.
The "X" actress said she now takes it with her everywhere, using it as necessary.
"It's an incredible product. I have it with me everywhere," she said. "This is really, really great, and it's a skin protectant so if you ever feel like you have too much on your lips or you have excess product, you could use it for cuticles and things like that."
The 21-year-old actress also disclosed that she used to have a picking habit and found that the cream "really helped."
However, she humorously warned against using it while on flights, having learned from a messy experience. She noted that the product was so thick that even a slight twist can cause it to ooze out everywhere, leaving a "gross" and "sticky" mess.
Ortega previously described the Elizabeth Arden cream as her "No. 1" choice for days when she opts not to wear makeup, especially when her lips feel dry or when the weather is cold, as reported by The Strategist.
According to the product description, the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream boasts an array of benefits beyond soothing sunburned skin, rehydrating chapped lips, and healing rough elbows and calluses. It's also ideal for maintaining a shine on legs, lips, and eyelids, as well as keeping eyebrows in place and cuticles perfectly manicured.
Other beauty products that the former "Stuck in the Middle" actress had inside her beauty bag were a Mason Pearson Pocket Bristle & Nylon Hairbrush ($80), R+Co Jenny Cho Velvet Curtain Cotton Touch Texture Balm ($34), her favorite lipstick, the Dior Rouge Dior Forever ($45) in the shade Forever Nude Touch, and a Shiseido Eyelash Curler ($24).
