Jennifer Lawrence handled an unexpected wardrobe malfunction like a pro at the Saks x Dior Holiday window unveiling in New York City Monday.

The "No Hard Feelings" actress looked elegant in head-to-toe Dior as she gave a speech introducing the luxury fashion house's Carousel of Dreams -- a holiday campaign on display at Saks Fifth Avenue New York flagship that coincides with the retailer's 10-story-tall theatrical light show.

But as she was speaking, the volume of the microphone caught her off guard, causing her to visibly flinch and the belt of her outfit to come undone, as seen in a video shared by W magazine.

Makeup artist Hung Vanngo also shared a clip of the moment on Instagram that was reposted to X, formerly Twitter, by a fan account.

The video showed the "Don't Look Up" star reacting with shock and putting both hands over her mouth.

But she swiftly regained her composure and apologized to the guests, attributing the mishap to the microphone's volume and humorously mentioning her belt popping off as she laughed off the moment.

The Oscar-winning actress continued her speech, saying, "I've had the honor of being a part of the Dior family for quite some time now. Looking around, this feels like the perfect place to celebrate the holidays."

Following her brief speech, the "Hunger Games" star, alongside Saks CEO Marc Metrick and Christian Dior CEO Delphine Arnault, initiated the countdown for the light show and reveal of Dior's enchanting window display.

The vibrant colors lit up the surroundings, infusing the area with a delightful Christmas ambiance.

For the occasion, Lawrence chose a preppy and chic ensemble from Dior. Sporting a white button-up shirt with the collar flipped up, she layered it with an oversized black knee-length coat. She paired these with a sheer, pleated black skirt and a pair of black ruched boots.

To complete the look, the Dior ambassador wore a silver chain bracelet and dazzling stud earrings and adorned her slicked-back hair with a black headband.

Her makeup featured subtle brown eyeshadow and a peachy rose lip color, accentuating her features.

This event marked the first-ever collaboration between retailer Saks and a luxury fashion house for its annual holiday window display.The Dior window display will run through Jan. 5.
