Jessica Alba shares her evening skincare routine on Instagram and here are the techniques and products that she uses to maintain her youthful glow.

ASMR

The New York Times Magazine writes that ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. It's a term coined by YouTube sensation Jennifer Allen and it's apparently a way to trigger a "serendipitous sensation." Whispering is one of those way and Alba immediately mentions that this is her "ASMR skincare routine." She whispers and barely talks during her skincare routine. Actually, the only other thing she says is "cat ears," and the rest of the sounds from the video comes from the faucet, the uncapping of her products and her breathing.

To keep her hair away from her face, Alba uses her favorite stretchy terrycloth headband from Honest Beauty.

According to the Honest Beauty website, this is one of Alba's favorites from the brand and one of their bestsellers. She shares the antioxidant-rich and shea butter-based mask makes her skin look "brighten and tighter," and her pores appear smaller. After cleansing her face, she applies the Prime and Perfect Mask with a brush and does some focused breathing while waiting for the mask to detox her face. Alba inhales for four seconds, holds her breath in for four seconds and exhales the air for another four seconds. As for the mask, she leaves it on her skin for five to ten minutes or up to 30 minutes for an extra boost.

Honest Beauty Calm + Heal Melting Balm

Alba concludes her evening routine with this fragrance moisturizing balm. With allantoin, mondo grass, and the brand's Calming Phyto-Blend^TM, this balm is formulated for dry skin and has received recognition from the National Eczema Association.
