When it comes to hair transformation, we've witnessed the craziest and drastic changes, all thanks to those viral TikTok hair trends.
With the popularity of hashtag #TikTokMadeMeDoIt, the video-sharing social media platform recreated some of the iconic hairstyles throughout the years; this includes the E-Girl hair color that features two face-framing hair streaks or highlights at the front part of the hair.
Apart from this, the curtain bangs became one of the 2020 hair trends and the birth of the mullet hair, as seen on Miley Cyrus and Rihanna during her recent Savage X Fenty fashion show.
Now, it appears that good hair days are coming this year as celebrity hairstylist Hos Hounkpatin explained to WhoWhatWear.com the biggest 2021 hair trends.

The revival of '90s Hairstyle
He pointed out that most trending hairstyles will be straight out of the '90s, so expect some familiar looks that will be slaying the runway or the Tinseltown this year.
Long, voluminous manes à la Cher Horowitz is seen to dominate hair trends as it suits several face shapes, not to mention, it's easier to maintain.
For gals who choose to have shorter hair, smooth and sleek manes with flipped ends, or slicked-back braids are about to be the main go-to hairstyle this 2021.
Modern Mod
Aside from the '90s, another retro trend slowly making a comeback is the '60s hairstyle but with a modern twist.
Hairstylist Mara Roszak recently featured Lily Collins with her subtle half up half down hairdo, tied with black ribbon for a more retro look.
Moreover, experts are also looking forward to hairstyles featuring soft, crimped waves and long wispy bangs.
Earlier this year, Jennifer Lopez sported some major throwback vibes, flaunting her layered cuts, showcasing her ash blonde highlights and grown out bangs.

When in Doubt, Go for Fringe
For a subtle transformation, Matthew Collins, whose famous clients are Mandy Moore, Joey King, and Emma Chamberlain, revealed to the outlet that fringe would be in for this year, most especially during the colder months.
"Going into the winter season, the sweaty forehead fear is less, and hats can be worn to hide a nightmare. So many women will be gaining the confidence to go for it and try it out," he explained.
However, he also advises considering the hair texture, lifestyle, and face shape before choosing a particular cut of bangs.
Whether it is a full blunt bang to side fringe, Collins notes spritzing a small amount of hairspray to keep bangs in place.
He recommends spraying at the roots of your fringe and quickly brushing it left to right until the spray has dried, then following it with a blow dryer to smoothen everything up.
All About Being Natural
Another notable hair trend for 2021 is the natural hair color and hair texture; whether it wavy or kinky curls, this year is all about celebrating God-given beauty.
Last year was about showcasing pastel hues; now, the hair color trend will be leaning to the natural shade--from dark honey blonde, chocolate brown, and deep shade of black.
