Gestures of goodwill have never been as highly appreciated as they are these days. In a grand gesture, First Aid Beauty just wiped out nearly 1.3 million dollars in student loans. If you're not familiar with the brand, First Aid Beauty has gained a massive following thanks to their products that are formulated for sensitive skin and targets skin concerns such as eczema. Their best-selling product, the Ultra Repair Cream, is perennially one of the top selling moisturizers on Sephora, Ulta and Amazon. According to the brand, they sell more than 1,575,000 jars of Ultra Repair Cream every year which means a jar is sold every 20 seconds.

The FAB Pledge

At the onset of Covid-19, the beauty brand pledged one million dollars to pay off student loans through the company's initiative FAB AID. They also committed 10 percent of the proceeds from a special edition First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream on top of that initial pledge. Last week, the 24 winners were announced and to say they were grateful is an understatement.

Their reactions have definitely brought out all the feels in a lot of people, especially in fans of the brand. One recipient, who just had $91,765 of student loans paid off, said, "You have no idea how much this means to me. I feel like I just lost this weight that I've been carrying for so long," while a fellow recipient with $17,680 paid off said that freedom from student debt is going to help her move forward towards a career in nursing and become an advocate for the Hispanic community.

You don't have to purchase anything to join, but if you're looking for skincare products that are great for sensitive skin, check out these First Aid Beauty best sellers.

Pure Skin Face Cleanser

Popsugar is a fan of this cleanser that's packed with antioxidants and skin-soothing aloe. It removes dirt, oil and makeup while balancing the skin's pH level and calming irritation.

Facial Radiance Pads

While exfoliating is a crucial step in skin care, those with sensitive skin find physical and chemical exfoliants too harsh. For gentle but effective exfoliation, FAB's Facial Radiance Pads combine lactic and glycolic acids to exfoliate, tone and brighten the skin. It also has aloe leaf juice, cucumber extract, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin to counter the acids in this exfoliating formula so those with sensitive skin won't feel any sting.

Ultra Repair Cream

Undoubtedly their most popular product, the Ultra Repair Cream, according to Allure is as iconic as NARS' Orgasm blush or Chanel No. 5. The heavy-duty moisturizer suits all skin types and is formulated with shea butter, ceramides, and colloidal oatmeal. These soothing ingredients have been approved by the FDA as an over-the-counter treatment for eczema.
