"The Knot" #1 media wedding content publication is now on Apple Newsstand and Google Play.
The number #1 wedding website TheKnot.com announced the national magazine and webportal will be available for Apple Newsstand and Google Play store with five editions available soon.
The Knot wedding portal was founded in 1997 with the bridal magazine newstand publication available in 2000. Currently, the magazine publishes regional magazines in 17 markets in the United States, with streaming online video channel, television series. TheKnot.com site focusing on newlyweds, co-habitating couples with lifestyle, finance and home décor content. The company is owned by XOXO group.
"We're so excited to provide our brides with unlimited access to The Knot, plus the extras you can only get on a tablet," said Carley Roney, The Knot cofounder and chief content officer.
The additions to Apple Newsstand and Google Play complete the availability of "The Knot" publication in all tablet devices including iphone, ipad and android. The Knot is now accessable in every major e-platform from Amazon Kindle, B&N Nook and now Android and Apple phones and tablets.
Features for the Apps include video enhancements, which enables user to watch embedded videos while browsing wedding content, exclusives with easy to use fashion footage and supplementary information with easy to click information detail pages.
