Chrissy Teigen proves she is the queen of honesty as she recently showed to everyone her post-pregnancy stretch marks.
Nothing can stop the 32-year-old mom from keeping it real on social media, something that is known of this stunner. For this, many people laud her for being true and raw, even if sometimes, it meant downright name-dropping people as high-profile as the father of Meghan Markle.
Apart from this, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model always proves that she can fight the battle with her wit, as she spices her social media posts with bons mots. Of late, Teigen recently earned praises anew for sharing how she is trying to embrace the changes she has had since she welcomed baby Miles Theodore, her second child with husband John Legend.
'Mom Bod Alert'
Teigen initially posted a short clip of her marks and captioned it with "mom bod alert." This was followed by an awe-inspiring topless photo of her sharing a romantic smooch with the "Love Me Now" singer.
After which, she gave her thoughts on the beauty ideals on social media, particularly in the photo-sharing app Instagram. Teigen didn't let anyone down when she explained that what people see in social media makes them forget "regular" bodies.
"I think it's awesome people have killer bodies and are proud to show them off (I really do!!) but I know how hard it can be to forget what (for lack of a better word) regular ol' bodies look like when everyone looks bonkers amazing," the host said.
Still Struggling
While she sounded like she could be at the forefront of body confidence scene, Teigen made a disclaimer that she, too, is still struggling. She further admitted that she is "still super insecure," and that she was just glad to have made people feel good about themselves.
To put a period on her relevant and seemingly a wonderful speech on body acceptance and confidence, she jokingly said she was going to go back to "being stupid." How Teigen is dealing with the issue is just admirable and her words can prove to be helpful to the people who feel the same thing.
Speaking of being relatable, Teigen previously admitted that she struggled with post-partum depression with her first daughter, Luna. Earlier this year, she was not afraid to tell everyone that she is worried about facing the same monster again, although, she also said she came prepared.
