Ralph Lauren, American Fashion designer and business executive for Ralph Lauren Polo company has created the new U.S. Olympic Team Uniforms. The New U.S. Olympic team uniforms will include navy blue blazers and red and white stripes.
The men's uniform consist of navy blue blazer with an Olympic team patch, with red and navy tie with off white cream flat-front pants. Women's uniform will also include a blazer with red scarves and white and blue stripes with off white cream color skirt.
Both Men and Women will wear a Beret in Navy Blue with red and white stripes.
The U.S. team previously wore a powder-blue Baret in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, UT.
The designer is also creating the U.S. Paralympic closing ceremony attire, as well as the 2012 Olympic village attire. Nike will be designing the attire for the Men's and Women's 2012 London Olympics competition.
The U.S. Olympic Uniforms represent "the spirit of American athleticism and sportsmanship," according to statement released by Ralph Lauren Company.
Other fashion designers includes: Stella McCartney designing the athletic wear for Great Britain and Giorgio Armani dressing the Olympic village attire for the Italian athletes.
"I am very honored to participate with thse great colleagues," said Armani to the media, adding "This will be the most fashionable Olympic Games ever."
