Smashbox's Studio Skin Hydrating Foundation line, which has been around the market for a while now, is getting more shades, joining other foundation lines which recently announced more shades.
It seemed that even the beloved foundation from Smashbox, which has been released to the public in 2011, is getting a boost to run after its competitors that have been trying their best to promote inclusivity. It is only fitting that the brand's Studio Skin Hydrating Foundation line is getting an additional 18 shades to cope up and address the growing demand for other hues.
22 Shades
Smashbox's Studio Skin Hydrating Foundation's original 22 shades already is a pretty decent range, but the recent announcement could only mean more fans for this tried and tested product. It promised to last for 15 hours, and its continuous stay on the market could only mean that it had developed a fan base of beauty buffs. This could only mean that the item is proving right to its claims.
Meanwhile, the additional shades to make the line total to 40 ranges will arrive on June 13. Fans can expect the same quality of matte finish from this foundation and they can choose from the medium to full coverage selections.
Now Smashbox understands the hardships in buying a foundation. From all the range, it will definitely take a genius to buy one without swatching or trying the item, but this brand already got that covered. Every shade has an undertone indicator to help customers get the best match and in order to achieve and enjoy the maximum effect of the product.
For 24 Hours
Smashbox's Studio Skin Hydrating Foundation still promises the same thing. No reformulation has been made. The brand just added more shades for everybody. However, it now promises to last for 24 hours, saying it is "now proven," though of course, the real judges here are the customers and that it is already established that there are no changes in its formula so this should be taken with a grain of salt.
"A high-performing liquid foundation that helps you face anything. Studio Skin hydrates, evens skin tone & never settles into pores & lines," the website describes the product.
Smashbox is only one of the brands that will release or have already launched additional shades to their lines. ColourPop will be dropping an impressive 42 shades for its No Filter Foundation line on June 14, which will sell for $12. This comes after the success of the No Filter Concealer with 30 shades for only $6 each.
