Kylie Jenner's makeup line has been taken over by her mom, Kris Jenner. But with the news out of the bag, what are the things people need to know about Kris Cosmetics?

To give those living under the rock a background on what this is all about, Kylie Cosmetics, obviously owned by the 20-year-old reality star, collaborated with all her sisters in her makeups in the past. Now, it is their momager, mom and manager, Kris, whom the mom of Stormi is partnering with in bringing awesome makeups.

Laudable Marketing Strategy

The first thing that's needed to be known about the collaboration is that it started with hacking. Yup, fans of Kylie were worried sick after the social media superstar announced that her Kylie Cosmetics account has been hacked. Nobody thought that something was up with that supposed "hacking." Little did they know that it was for something bigger.

Hours after Kylie's announcement of the hacking that had happened, a video surfaced showing who the real hacker was, Kris. Try searching for "Kylie Cosmetics" on Instagram, and one certainly won't find the infamous account. Why? It has been replaced by Kris Cosmetics.

The bottomline is, Kylie and Kris's marketing strategy became essential for their launch of the latter's collection.

"Kylie will have her #kyliecosmetics account back after Mother's Day, lol!! Kris xo," the bio read.

Speaking of the upcoming occasion, the timing to drop Kris Cosmetics is well-thought of, too, which is on May 13. It was only a matter of time before the 62-year-old and Kylie teamed up for a makeup collection that would surely wow anyone, and the timing is nothing short of perfect.

Not only that, there are hints that the duo has been thinking of upping their game in bringing the fans the ultimate Kris experience through her collaboration with Kylie, the packaging and the shade names.

Witty Product Names, Packaging

While many celebrities launch their own makeup lines, it's definitely hard to stand out from the rest. That's where Kris Cosmetics won. The names of the shade are precisely to watch for.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Kylie revealed that the genius behind the uber-funny names is Kris. Some of the more names that can tickle anyone's funny bone is the "10%" eyeshadow. Of course, Keeping Up with The Kardashians fans very well know that the manager gets that cut.

Her eight mini lip "collection" also had some names that are too unique. Kris's favorite is the red one called "middle finger." One which might need some explanation are the packages written with: "You're doing amazing sweetie," or what the momager said to Kim Kardashian in 2007 during the latter's Playboy shoot.
