Anna Hathaway recently shared an image of her baby boy watching the actress give an inspirational speech on the occasion of International Women's day. The 34-year-old star who welcomed her first baby, Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman from husband, producer Adam Shulman, reportedly stayed away from posting his pictures on social media. But this time she made an exception and used her Instagram page to post a sweet picture of the 11-month-old.
As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, the post came after Hathaway delivered a motivational speech on at the United Nations and spoke about the significance of paid parental leave. The "Dark Knight Rises" star, who became global goodwill ambassador of UN Women in 2016, shared her deepest memories of becoming a parent for the first time when she was blessed with JRS last April.
"I remember the indescribable, and as I understand it universal, the feeling of holding my newborn son, and suddenly my priorities change on a cellular level," the Oscar Winner expresses her views and how powerful it felt to gain the responsibility of caring a young, beautiful life, as she became a mother for the first time, reports Vanity Fair.
Hathaway also recalled experiencing a shift in consciousness, which gave her the ability to maintain the love of career and at the same time cherish something else. The Brooklyn native also went on to discuss her dilemma of balancing work and her new family, where she confronted the fact that an American woman is allowed 12 weeks unpaid maternity leave while men receive none.
Last year in May, Hathaway's husband, Adam talked about his own experience of parenting Jonathan where he said he was grateful having a career that benefits his son's development his early years. Well, no matter what, fans had been eagerly waiting to see the cute little star kid, but had no luck, until the mother (Anna) took her Instagram account to share a gorgeously cute picture of JRS.
