Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has officially decided to end her marriage with French husband Romain Dauriac and filed a divorce after their break up in summer last year. And it seems now that there will be a nasty battle between the estranged couple over custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Rose Dorothy Dauriac.
New York Post Page Six first reported the news of their split after the actress's lawyer Judith Poller sent a legal notice to Dauriac's attorney Harold Mayerson. "Dauriac would like to move to France with Rose and Mrs. Johansson travels a lot," said Mayerson during an interview and also stated that it will be an interesting process.
The couple dated for two years and got married on October 1, 2014, soon after the birth of their daughter. However, for several months, the 32-year-old star was seen without her wedding ring that speculated their break up, and the couple finally got separated in 2016. After the breakup, they had an informal agreement on parenting Rose every other week.
A close source stated in the Daily Mail that the "Lucy" star would take the child on her upcoming film "Ghost in the shell" shoot to New Zealand and then she wanted to have a shorter parenting schedule of three days while Dauriac took her for a couple of days. This made the kid bounce back and forth due to her regular traveling schedule.
Dauriac complained that his life was beginning to revolve around her ex's timetable, to which his lawyer told that "this is what they do in Hollywood." Johansson's attorney Judith commented on the message. This is not the first time Scarlett Johansson had filed for divorce. She tied knot with actor Ryan Reynolds back in 2008, but two years later, they got separated as things weren't working out for them.
