Mariah Carey, who had a terrible New Years Eve performance, has recently opened up about it and blamed 'everyone' including herself for the epic meltdown. The 46-year-old singer said that she was very enthusiastic about the performance and was looking forward to celebrating the moment with the world.

In an interview given to Rolling Stone magazine, Carey explained they she doesn't want to bring the matter up, but now everyone is talking is about it, which can't be helped. "It is something which I need to explain to the world, otherwise they won't understand it because it's not what they do. Just like she wouldn't understand someone with a desk job and how to do it" she added.

The "Without You" Singer said that she do get upset by these things, but this was definitely out of her control and put some blame on herself as well for not leaving after the rehearsal. "If things weren't such chaotic, I would have done something. I think the dancers should have acted accordingly, such as dragging me out of the stage when they find out I was out of time to control the situation, instead they kept dancing.

Speaking about the show, the star was taken aback when her song "Emotions" begin to play, which wasn't included in the performance. The star told the audience to finish the lyrics and said that she is trying to be a good sport here, reports RTE.

According to the Mirror, the New York native admitted that she was left humiliated after the disastrous performance, which was the result of the false song being played during the performance and said that she didn't have time to address the situation, but in time, she definitely will. Carey also said that she doesn't want to recall the awful moment and feels she need to talk about the incident.
