Kylie Cosmetics have become a staple in every makeup maven's beauty kit. They're hip, they're happening, and they look gorgeous. However, it is interesting to note that Kylie Jenner -- the woman behind the line -- is more of a reality TV star than an actual chemist mixing up the products. Hers is the brand name, and for yet another time, her brand is under fire.
This time around, Woman's Day NZ reported that customers were complaining about her Kyshadow Kits giving them headaches. While the brand could claim that this is a mere coincidence -- Kylie's customers also added that these eyeshadow palettes have a toxic smell to them.
In fact, TMZ noted that at least 15 people already filed complaints to the Better Business Bureau, saying that Kylie's Royal Peach Eyeshadow Palette smelled of "chemicals and glue." Another customer complained that the makeup caused a "horrible headache." Comments on the Kylie Cosmetics social media accounts also echoed the same complaints.
This is not the first time that the company made headlines for bad business. The BBB gave the Kylie Cosmetics an "F" rating last year due to customer complaints that ranged from billing issues to quality of her products. Last August, Hollywood Life even reported that customers complained of the amount of formula in their Metal Lip Kits -- which arrived half-empty.
The youngest Jenner then retaliated with a fiery post, saying she was “sick and tired of people coming for my business." However, she did add that she will "do anything in my power to protect and improve it every day and make [the customers] happy,”
Despite their initial revelation, BBB later changed Kylie Cosmetics score to "No Rating." The Bureau stated that the website had been in business less than a year, and did not have enough record for a rating just yet.
