Not long after Angelina Jolie was appointed as the new face of Guerlain, Academy Award winner and Australian heartthrob Nicole Kidman has just been announced as the brand ambassador for globally popular beauty brand Neutrogena. The actress, who is busy promoting her new movie "Lion" for which she is nominated for the best-supporting actress at the 2017 Oscars, will be venturing into the beauty industry for her new role.
The 49-year-old actress, who is known for her stunning and elegant appearance on the red carpet events, shared her thoughts on how important it is to protect and maintain your skin from the sun, which inspired her to associate with the brand. "I grew up in Australia where protection from the sun is incredibly necessary. Since I was a little girl, my mother taught me to protect my skin from the sun. My top priority is to maintain my overall health, including the appearance of my skin" she said.
As per the reports of Marie Claire, this is not her first collaboration with a beauty brand as she was previously the brand ambassador for Chanel No. 5. "Nicole will aid us to encourage and empower women to embrace their beauty while protecting their skin, which is entirely possible with Neutrogena," says Carla Speering, Group Marketing Manager.
According to Beauty Crew, the "Moulin Rogue" actress's makeup free selfie last year could be the inspiration between this partnership. Surely after Guerlain's announcement of choosing Angelina Jolie as their new face and now this, it is certainly becoming a trend for celebrities entering into the beauty industry.
Nicole will be working alongside an impressive team of Hollywood A-listers that include Jennifer Garner, Kerry Washington, Kristen Bell, Julie Bowen and Hayden Panettiere. Let's just how well this collaboration would help the Neutrogena and as for the fans of Kidman, they surely must be eagerly waiting for her first appearance as the face the brand.
