Threadflip is a simple pin-board style used clothing, accessories and shoes market site. Threadflip aims to simplifying the "friction" between buying and selling products online and by easy to use iPhone application.

Founder and Chief Executive Manik Singh told VentureWire that Threadflip was created with women like his wife in mind; who are too busy to sell things on eBay, but have a closet packed with expensive items they no longer want or wear.

Threadflip aims to bring simplicity to buying and selling proces by handling the logistics and payments between buyers and sellers. Also providing pre-paid shipping boxes, in exchange for 15% of the item sale price. On the website Threadflip.com users can experience easy view and shopping using Pintrest Pin-board style scroll features, where items images are added to the board.

Listening to user feedback Threadflip has also created a  "White Glove Service" a full service model simplifying selling process by allowing users to stuff their pre-paid box and ship it to Threadflip. The company then take photographs, describe and post items, handle shipping and payment in exchange for 40% of sale price.

Threadflip now provides an iPhone app. "When you can purchase something with one click on your phone...that's powerful. Shopping turns into entertainment," said Shasta Ventures Managing Director Tod Francis, who will be joining the board to VentureWire.

Shasta Ventures has invested $20 million into Threadflip Venture.
