Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill may be keeping mum regarding engagement rumors, however, sources close to the rap couple are revealing that Minaj and Mill are taking a page out of Beyoncé and Jay Z's book when it comes to their upcoming tour.
Urban Islandz reports that after seeing how successful Bey and Jay'z joint tour was in terms of sales and press coverage, sources close to Minaj reveal that the "Only" rapper wants the same success for her and beau Meek Mill.
One source dishes to the site that Minaj and Meek Mill are planning to show off their love for one another on stage in the hopes that it will increase ticket sales just as it did for the "Drunk In Love" couple.
"Nicki and Meek sees themselves as the next big hip hop power couple and fans can look out for some major affection between them on stage for their tour this summer," the source confirms.
"It's good for business, we all saw Beyoncé and Jay Z doing and they sold out arenas everywhere they go. People like a good love story and Nicki and Meek has that and will be using it as a marketing strategy for the PinkPrint tour," the source concluded.
The news comes only a few short weeks after Minaj was spotted holding hands with beau Meek Mill at the Mayweather versus Pacquiao fight in Las Vegas, where photographers caught a glimpse of the rapper's rumored 15-carat engagement ring.
While Minaj shared her own close-up pic of her ring via Instagram over a month ago, neither she nor Meek Mill have officially confirmed the news of their engagement, despite close friends Drake and Jay Z offering up their congratulations to the new rap couple.
Similarly, Minaj's ex-boyfriend of over a decade, Safaree Samuels, seemed to confirm the news as well when he offered up his congratulations to his ex in an interview with VladTV, telling the site, "It is what it is. If that's who she chooses to be with it don't have nothing to do with me. If I was a bitter jealous person and I was miserable in my life right now, it'll be different, but mentally, I haven't been this happy in God knows how long. I just feel free."
