After dating for eight months, Ariana Grande and Big Sean decided to call it quits on their relationship, blaming it on their busy schedules. However, reports claimed that there was a lot of "selfish" and "immature" behavior, but whatever the reason is, it looks like the "Paradise" rapper is regretting the split.

Sean recently opened up about his relationship with the "One Last Time" singer and it sounds like things are pretty serious.

In a recently interview with Complex magazine, the rapper talked about how they had a solid foundation as friends before getting romantic.

"We started as friends. I'd never done that. Usually you meet a girl and then start dating. We always saw each other in the studio, and we'd talk about songs we were working on. It was cool to have a girl that I could talk to about my problems. I did that with her," said Sean. "It's not some fake-a**, inauthentic s**t when I say we were friends. This is something special and I appreciate every moment of it."

Sean also expressed that he had no problem with having his relationship under the microscope saying, "I don't think about it like that. You can't be afraid, because when you're afraid you don't give it your all."

Previous sources stated that the two split because Grande was the one who paid for most of the expenses in regards to their relationship, despite sources close to Sean revealing that it was he who dropped thousands of dollars to visit her while she was on tour.

Sources close to Grande stated that she covered the bill for vacations and private flights so they could see each other frequently. However, Sean called out Grande for being "selfish" after she skipped his House of Blues performance in February due to her Grammy performance being the next day. Grande backfired at his claims saying that he didn't take into consideration the amount of prep it took for her performance the next day.

However, the big stunt that apparently got Sean really mad was the onstage Justin Bieber "hug," which was rumored to be planned by Grande to make her boyfriend jealous. Despite the reports, sources confirmed that the "Bang Bang" singer never asked Bieber to hug her or engage in the stunt and that Sean never expressed any concern over the move after it was brought up in the media.
