Appearing at the Soul Food Festival in Los Angeles, Saturday, Bobby Brown confessed to having a rough time coping with his daughter's medical condition.

The 46-year-old R&B singer made a public appearance for the first time since Bobbi Kristina Brown's hospitalization. After performing in a mini concert at the food festival, singing "Don't Be Cruel" and "On Our Own," he made a short, emotional speech.

"I must tell y'all. This feels really, really really good," Brown told his audience, according to an exclusive report by Daily Mail.

"I want to thank all of y'all for coming out tonight to support me and my family," the "Panther" actor stated.

"Rough times are rough times, hard times are hard times. I dunno what the hell I am going through right now, but I am giving it to God and letting him deal with it," he added.

"There is only one thing I ask of you all tonight and that is enjoy yourselves," Brown said in conclusion.

After the food fair event, Brown immediately took a flight back to Atlanta, Georgia, so he can continue to monitor his 22-year-old daughter's condition, a source informed People.

The heiress to the Houston estate was found unconscious in her bathtub in Georgia on Jan. 31.

The "Gang of Roses" actor has been by his daughter's side since the incident, making the medical decisions for her, according to People.

The only daughter of the late Whitney Houston is still in a medically-induced coma. She was taken to an undisclosed rehabilitation facility in March, Us Weekly reported.

Brown and Houston met at the Soul Train Music Awards in 1989. The "Every Little Thing" singer and "The Bodyguard" actress got married at Houston's estate in 1993.

Houston and Brown's divorce was finalized in 2007, with the late iconic diva receiving full custody of their daughter.

Brown married Alicia Etheredge in 2012 and she is now pregnant with their second child.
