Kourtney Kardashian has opened up about her longtime partner Scott Disick's rehab stint. According to the eldest Kardashian sister, she wants the father of her kids to work on himself and improve for the better.
In a recent interview with People, Kardashian gushed about her boyfriend's struggle against alcohol and Disick's move to fix himself by checking into a rehab facility.
"He's is doing well. I think the thing that's most important to me is just his commitment to working on himself," she gushed to the publication on Saturday.
Kardashian then admitted that it's really difficult for anyone to have someone who is not willing to make changes and improve for the better.
"If somebody doesn't want to make changes then that's really hard," the 35-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star quipped.
Kourtney's statement comes a week after her longtime boyfriend entered a Costa Rican rehab facility named Rythmia Life Advancement Center, Gossip Cop has learned.
"I realize my issues are bigger than me and I'm ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle," Disick said at the time.
Now, Kourtney claims that she is happy for Scott and that she is looking forward for a better relationship with him.
"He is learning so much about himself and growing, and so that's really amazing to see," she said. "When he's working on himself it only betters our relationship."
Disick is said to be receiving iboga treatment that primarily involves the use of medical alkaloids found in tree roots to help him get rid of his addiction to alcohol. Disick is reportedly staying at the rehab facility for 21 days.
Meanwhile, the world didn't stop for Kardashian amid Disick's ordeal. She was reportedly spotted riding a private jet to Las Vegas with seven of her girl pals to host the season opener of the Marquee Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan, according to Daily Mail.
Kardashian was photographed rocking a leopard print, floor-length wrap dress during the event. Underneath her dress is a halter black bikini. For her feet, she sported tan leather wedge sandals.
