Nicki Minaj's ex Safaree Samuels has released a new freestyle rap in which he talks a bit about his life after he and the "Anaconda" rapper broke up, according to MTV.

Freestyling over Big Sean's new song "Blessed," Samuels, who also goes by the name Scaff Beezy, raps about his decision to retain his tattoo of Minaj's face on his forearm.

"Yeah, I was in love/ Yeah, these tattoos are the best," he says. "But I woke up one day and I got in my feelings and covered my chest / This one on my forearm, yeah I know I'mma leave it/ 'Cause that is a part of my history and it cannot be deleted."

Samuels had previously spoken out about his split from Minaj, saying he felt like he was treated more like an employee than a boyfriend.

During an appearance on Power 105's "The Breakfast Club," the rapper said, "I walked away. I'm not going to say I broke up, but I'm the one who walked away. I packed up my stuff and I left."

He added, "I just got to the point where the respect wasn't there. Everyone around her works for her, you know?... And it got to the point where I was being treated like an employee, instead of like her man."

A source close to Minaj reportedly told Urban Islandz that Samuels is affected by the "Only" rapper's rumored relationship with Meek Mill.

"[He's] a good guy and he is really hurt by the photos and by what she is doing," the source reportedl said. "She is going around dissing [Scaff Beezy] and sucking up to Meek Mill when a few weeks ago she wanted to work things out. How does she expect to be taken seriously?"

Samuels and Minaj were in a 12-year relationship before they called it quits in late 2014.
