Singer Christina Milian has opened up about her relationship with rumored boyfriend, rapper Lil Wayne.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Milian gushed about her relationship with the Young Money boss, saying, "Sometimes people don't necessarily understand the relationship but it doesn't really matter. It is the chemistry between you and the other person, that is what love is all about."

Even though she admitted that she's not sure about the relevance of their birthdays being a day apart, the "Turned Up" star said she believes it gives them a "certain connection."

Describing the rapper, Milian said, "He is a [cool] dude. He is a hard worker... This man literally sleeps, goes to the studio, goes skateboarding, eats, sleeps, goes to the studio, goes skateboarding."

The singer added, "He is a really special person and it is great to see there is a vulnerable side to him as well and he is also very family oriented."

Despite never confirming their relationship, Milian has spoken out about her admiration for the rapperon several occasions.

When asked to confirm their relationship, the singer said during a guest appearance on the "Wendy Williams" show, "He's my man crush everything, how about that? Is that a good answer."

She also hinted that they "have great chemistry" and "a great involvement in each other's life."

"Lil Wayne and I are very close," Milian said during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live" in January. "We have a very close, personal relationship and I really like him a lot. We have great chemistry."

Explaining why she does not want to be completely open about what is going on between the two of them, the singer told Singersroom in an interview, "I think it's a relationship to be protected because the world has something to say about everything. If it's something worth anything, I think it's best to enjoy and live for yourself."

Rumors about Christina Milian and Lil Wayne's relationship started swirling when they were spotted holding hands at the ESPY Awards in July 2014.
