Lea Seydoux proves that sometimes, red lipstick is all you need.

The French actress and new Bond girl stole the show at the BAFTA Awards on Sunday with her minimal makeup look, statement red lip and yellow Prada gown.

Lea's makeup artist Mary Wiles told Grazia how she created the look.

"Camille Seydoux, her stylist and sister, always has a great vision of the look we are trying to achieve with Lea. This time was glamour and femininity with a modern approach to complement her stunning yellow Prada dress," Mary said.

"Lea manages to pull of that old Hollywood glamour while still looking 2015."

Mary revealed that she kept Lea's makeup minimal, using a little bit of Lancome Blush Subtil Palette in Rose Flush on Lea's skin to keep her glowing, creating a sheer gold eye, and lengthening Lea's lashes with Lancome Hypnose Dolls Eyes Mascara.

"Once Lea was dressed I could see which colour lip would best suit and I lined the lips and filled in to create depth and longevity," Mary said. Lea is wearing Lancome Rouge In Love in Midnight Crush.
