Music celebrities John Mayer and Katy Perry have rekindled their romance and are now back together, according to a report by New York Post's Page Six.
The couple appeared together on Thursday night at Hollywood's Tower Bar, where several other stars were dining at the time.
The news comes after the two were seen having dinner at a friend's house last weekend and then reportedly spending the night and the following day together at Perry's nearby mansion, according to Daily Mail.
Mayer, 37, and Perry, 30, surprised patrons of the restaurant in the Sunset Tower Hotel as they showed affection to each other, according to the report.
"Katy Perry and John Mayer walked in together, arm in arm, and the whole room literally fell silent," said a restaurant guest who spoke with Page Six.
"Even Dimitri Dimitrov - Hollywood's most famous maitre d', who has seen everything - and Sunset Tower owner Jeff Klein both stop mid-sentence when John and Katy arrived, as if they wanted to announce to everyone in Hollywood they are back together," the source continued.
Mayer and Perry, born Katherine Elizabeth Hudson, sat next to the table where director and producer Lee Daniel and model Naomi Campbell were seated at. Also present in the restaurant at the time were Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Clint Eastwood, Liz Goldwyn, Dita Von Teese, Kid Cudi, Bryan Greenberg and Jamie Chung.
The couple got back together after breaking up in February. They first dated in 2012, after Perry's marriage to British actor Russell Brand ended, and were in an on-again, off-again relationship before finally splitting last year.
Before this reconciliation, Perry dated 36-year-old American electronic dance musician Diplo. Mayer has also dated pop star Taylor Swift in the past, who was rumored last year to have had a feud with Perry.
Perry is slated to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 1, according to Fox News. Mayer, meanwhile, last put out a record, titled "Paradise Valley," in 2013.
