Marvel has finally released a magnified version of the ridiculously tiny teaser trailer for 2015's "Ant-Man."
A day after the famous entertainment company dropped a rather witty and nothing short of comical sneak peak for its upcoming superhero film, Marvel whet the appetite of curious fans through a full trailer that is made for the human eyes, reports Huffington Post.
The "Ant-Man" official trailer shows Paul Rudd being escorted by police officers, a panoramic shot of a body of water, an altercation in what appears to be a prison, and a first look at Ant-Man's running legs.
The shots do not really leak significant information on the storyline of the movie, but rest assured fans will get more context when Marvel drops the full trailer for the movie during the premiere of ABC's "Agent Carter" on Tuesday, Jan. 6, according to The Verge.
Per Marvel's official description of the next superhero film, Paul Rudd's character, Scott Lang, has the unique ability of shrinking into a miniature superhero with unyielding strength.
"Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang (played by Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats," a part of the description reads. "Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world."
Apart from Rudd, "Ant-Man" stars Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Judy Greer, Tip "Ti" Harris, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris and Jordi Mollà, among others.
"Bring It On," "Yes Man" and "The Break-up" director Peyton Reed is taking the helm with Kevin Feige producing, CNET has learned.
Louis D'Esposito, Michael Grillo, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Stan Lee and Edgar Wright are executive producing.
To be distributed by Disney, "Ant-Man" is set to premiere on July 17, 2015 and is expected to be a summer blockbuster, according to Daily Mail.
