Sofia Vergara is now engaged to Joe Manganiello, according to People.
Manganiello proposed to Vergara on Christmas Day while on vacation in Hawaii, according to insiders. The couple, however, have not yet confirmed the engagement as of this writing.
An insider has revealed that Manganiello was "very nervous" about the proposal. "He wasn't 100 percent sure she would say yes," the source added.
Speculations heightened up when Vergara was photographed wearing a diamond ring while sunbathing in Hawaii. Although the actress has her own jewelry line, people noticed that the ring looked unique. The center rock and design made it look like an engagement ring rather than a friendship or cocktail ring, Daily Mail reported.
Aside from that, love is definitely in the air as Vergara greeted Manganiello with a picture on Instagram. The photo showed the couple in a tight embrace.
"Happy happy bday to my love and best friend ❤️❤️to the one that makes me laugh like crazy!have a healthy wonderfull year babe!!! @joemanganiello," she wrote.
The pair never ceased to declare their love for each other. Manganiello expressed his admiration for the actress even before they became a couple.
"She's got the curves, she's got a beautiful face, beautiful hair, just gorgeous. Naturally beautiful. She's feisty!" Manganiello said of Vergara.
A month after they dated, Vergara did not shy away when she was asked why her boyfriend did not attend the Emmy's with her.
"He is really hot. That's why I didn't bring him. He's too hot. He's too tall. He takes up a lot of space. I was like, listen, Joe, please don't come," the actress said.
Even the people around the lovebirds witnessed their affection for each other. A source revealed to E! News some details about the couple.
"I've never seen two people so truly in love. The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It's incredible," the source said.
The couple may be inseparable but they still have their own movie projects to watch for. Vergara is set to star in the action film "Don't Mess with Texas" while Manganiello is back in the sexy movie "Magic Mike XXL" in 2015.
