Vin Diesel has been rumored to be taking part in Marvel's "Inhumans" for months, and now the actor himself seems to be hinting at his possible involvement in the film via his Facebook photo, Ace Showbiz reported.
The "Fast and Furious" actor changed the cover photo of his official Facebook account on Sunday, showing a black and white photo of himself wearing a black shirt with the "Inhumans" logo on it. The words "Are you Inhuman?" can also be seen in the background.
This is not the first time Diesel teased about taking part in the film as he previously mentioned it on his Facebook back in August. The actor was talking about his voice acting role in "Guardians of the Galaxy" and wrote, "Vin and Marvel... you all made it happen! I get the strange feeling that Marvel thinks I'm Inhuman... Haha."
Fans, however, are still cautioned to take the news lightly. Diesel once posted a fan-made photo of himself as The Vision around the time he was rumored to be in talks with Marvel, which fueled the rumor mill. Fellow Marvel actor Robert Downey Jr. also tends to post fan-made works on his Facebook account which end up as news citing Downey as an "official" source, according to Comic Book.
"Inhumans" centers on a group of beings who acquire superpowers after being experiment on. The group live in isolation and follow their king Black Bolt, who has a Quasi-Sonic Scream and doesn't speak, else risk destroying his surroundings, according to Movie News Guide.
The film is slated for a release on Nov. 2, 2018, and Marvel is still keeping mum on details about the film and its cast.
For now, Diesel is looking at another Marvel film on his belt with the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy 2," to be released on May 5, 2017. Diesel voices the tree-like character Groot and co-stars alongside Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, David Bautista and more.
