Nicki Minaj has a lot of things to say on the new music video of her song "Love Triangle," talking about why she dumped ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels, TMZ reported.
In the exclusive video reportedly acquired by TMZ, Minaj could be seen and heard saying Samuels broke her heart when he decided to cheat on her. Though it was also noted that in "Love Triangle" she mentioned that she was "deeply" missing Samuels.
This does not spell good news for Samuels, who has allegedly been contemplating suicide after the breakup, according to Daily Mail.
Samuels allegedly confided to friends that he spent most of this time hiding away and trying to deal with his split from Minaj, especially after hearing that "The Pinkprint" rapper is dating Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill. Samuels also reportedly accused Mill of being the one who started the rumors that he cheated on Minaj.
Samuels even replied to a fan on Twitter wondering if he was watching Minaj's interviews and wrote that he's been hearing about them but haven't watched because it "hurts 2 much."
Samuels' friends were reportedly so concerned about him and the possibility of him going ahead with his supposed suicide plans that they've been urging him to see a psychiatrist.
However, Minaj has been trying to clear up rumors and stated that she was not together with Mill, whom she collaborated with for the track "Big Daddy," according to HipHop DX.
During an interview, she stressed that she is single and said she and Mill were just friends and they don't consider each other romantically at all.
"People are just assuming these things and I don't know why," Minaj added.
She also talked about Samuels in a radio interview where she expressed her sadness over the breakup saying, "I don't think people realize it's not just a breakup. That was a humongous part of my life."
