Lindsay Lohan has claimed that she doesn't want to live in Los Angeles ever again in a revealing new interview with The Guardian.
The 28-year-old actress ventured to the other side of the pond after scoring the lead role in "Speed-the-Plow." And according to Lohan, she has enjoyed living in London so much that she's decided to stay there for an extended period of time, looking to broaden her theatrical resume performing at West End.
"I won't live again in LA, hell no," the "Mean Girls" star told the newspaper.
The actress confessed that she's grown tired of hearing about Hollywood and just wants to focus on her career.
"My friends tell me s--- when they come over I don't want to hear. I don't even know who got married and who got pregnant," she continued. "You turn on the news in LA and it is all gossip about people. All the stuff that is going on in the world right now and this gossip is the news?"
Lohan went on to say that because she did not know "what to do apart from go out every night" in Los Angeles, this led to her downward spiral and seen her enter rehabilitation three times.
The "Freaky Friday" star's life in London couldn't be any more different, with the actress confessing that her stay in the English capital has helped her "grow up."
“I can go for a run here on my own,” she revealed. “I do every morning, early, and I think how my friends in New York would still be up partying at that time. I needed to grow up and London is a better place for me to do that than anywhere else.”
"I love the BBC. I haven’t heard myself mentioned on TV since I have been here. That has been really weird for me, and great," she added.
So what's next for Lohan?
“I would like to do a period piece at least,” she revealed to The Guardian. “I enjoyed having a British accent when I did Parent Trap so I guess I am halfway there."
The way I see it,” she continued, adding “the longer I live here the less of a choice you will all have not to hire me for play."
The report comes just a month after sources told New York Daily News that Lohan had planned to make a move back to New York City.
